Bearlock – a lock for gearbox unit

The lock for gearbox unit Bearlock is a perfect addition to the electronic alarm devices such as immobilizers or car alarms. Bearlock is fixed to the car body in a hardly accessible place and blocks the gearbox unit or a change-gear lever.

Installation of the Bearlock on the gear box unit will significantly hinder attempt to steal your vehicle. The Bearlock is made of the massive metal frame that is attached to the body with the removable bolts and locking mechanism or the metal bar.
Although there is a possibility to break the Bearlock, this is pretty labour-consuming and will require a lot of time. An intruder is more likely to choose another car, without the similar device.




Unlike other widespread mechanical anti-theft alarm systems, Bearlock doesn’t spoil the car interior, as the system is fully hidden under the central cоnsole.

There are 2 types of the BearLocks:

1. The lock with a blocking bar. In order to disengage the gearbox, you need to take the bar out.
2. The new generation locks where you only have to press or turn the „button” of the blocking mechanism to block the gearbox.

All locks are made so, that in order to block the lever it is necessary to switch on to the rear gear (in case of the manual gearbox) or to the „parking” mode (in case of the automatic gearвox).

Price of the lock with the blocking mechanism plus installation makes 229 €
